Services

The members of the department of General Economics deliver, in addition to education and research, also important services to the community. We distinguish between external and internal services (services delivered within Ghent University).

External services

External services mainly include the active membership and/or chairmanship of various advisory boards, committees, editorial boards, board of directors, etc. as well as refereeing articles for scientific journals.

The members of the department of General Economics are also active members of several faculty and university commissions (Education Committees, Library Committee, Computer Science Committee, Committee for Internationalisation, Doctoral Committee, steering committee for the information technology applications of the student administration, Advisory Committee for Studies, Top-class sports etc.) Professor Marc De Clercq is dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Adminitration.
